This notice describes the browser storage used by the current OneCount website and web application. It was reviewed on 13 July 2026.

Essential authentication

When you sign in, Supabase Auth uses first-party browser storage and may use authentication cookies to maintain and refresh your session. Exact cookie names and lifetimes can vary with the Supabase authentication flow. Blocking essential authentication storage can prevent the signed-in application from working.

Presentation preference

The signed-in and authentication interfaces use onecount-theme as a first-party functional cookie and local-storage key to remember whether you selected Operational or Paper mode. The cookie lasts for up to one year. This presentation preference does not change operational data, permissions, or product behaviour, and it is not used to track you.

Web analytics

Vercel Web Analytics is active on this site. It is first-party analytics that stores anonymised and aggregated data and does not use cookies, according to Vercel's Analytics documentation and Analytics privacy policy. It is not advertising tracking.

OneCount removes query strings and page fragments from OneCount page URLs sent to Web Analytics and excludes private, account, admin, and authentication routes. Custom events are limited to fixed product, journey, destination, device, location, and success values rather than form text.

Consent and browser controls

The current public site does not set a non-essential cookie, so OneCount does not display a cookie banner solely for Vercel Web Analytics or the functional presentation preference. We will review consent requirements before adding advertising, session replay, personalisation, or other non-essential storage, and update this notice before enabling it. You can still clear or block browser storage through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset the interface to Operational mode.
