Fifteen minutes to your first real count.
No demo data, no sales call required. This page is the exact, honest path from signup to a first count in your own organization — what works today, and what's still coming.
The first session
Web signup to first count — the exact path.
Each step is a real, shipped screen. There's no hidden setup call between step 3 and step 4.
Sign up on the web
Create your account at onecount.ai/signup — email and a password, no credit card.
Create your organization and first venue
One short form. This is the org and venue the rest of the walkthrough counts against.
Sign in on your phone with the same account
Install the OneCount app, sign in with the same email, then open Settings → Full Sync. Your organization and venues load onto the device automatically — no separate device pairing step to get wrong.
Run your first count
Pick a section, scan or search a handful of items, key quantities. That's a real count in the same data the web dashboard reads.
There is no QR-code device pairing yet — the phone and the web dashboard are linked by signing in with the same account, which is the real mechanism today.
Live today
What actually works, right now.
Every item below is a shipped path you can run in your first session — not a roadmap slide.
Count in two taps
Scan a barcode or search the catalog, key the quantity, done. Unrecognised barcodes prompt a two-field inline quick-create instead of stalling the count.
Scan invoices
Photograph a supplier invoice and OneCount reads the line items for you to confirm — no manual re-typing of every SKU and price.
Waste, with instant $ feedback
Log a waste event and see its dollar value the moment you save it, plus a running 7-day total — the cost of what went in the bin, not just the quantity.
Checklists
Recurring opening/closing and prep checklists (Ops) with overdue items surfacing to the shared attention feed — not a paper clipboard nobody reads.
Temperature episodes
Shield tracks fridge/freezer checks as episodes, not isolated readings — a sustained breach reads differently from a one-off blip, with an open → acknowledge → action → resolved trail.
Labels via AirPrint or network print
Print date/traceability labels from any AirPrint-capable printer today; direct Brother/Zebra network printing (Trace) is in certification for dedicated label hardware.
Coming next
What's still ahead — named honestly.
No fabricated proof, no invented customer counts. These are the two connectors we're building toward next; neither is live yet.
POS-driven forecasts
Sales-informed prep and par forecasting once a POS connector (Square first) is linked for your venue.
Xero push
Supplier bills push to Xero as reviewed drafts once you connect Xero from Settings — every push still needs a human approval, never an auto-post to a live ledger.
Fifteen minutes. Your data. No demo.
Sign up, create your venue, and run a real count before your coffee's cold.
